Rubbish
Very cheaply made, fell apart after one week of use.

A good piece of kit
I have the remote sensor located just outside my window so I can't attest to its range.
It has a red LED that flashed once in a while, also the sun shines on it so when that happens I can't really trust the accuracy.
The remote sensor is very good quality with a rubber seal around the battery compartment, actually the whole device is very good quality.
I mainly wanted a thermometer that would tell me the outside temp, so the fact that the first two lines on the display are both for the outside temp and dampness is great.
Don't know how long the batteries last but it is a very good quality instrument so I expect they'll last a long while.
