YAESU FT-102 RELAY SET 11pcs full complete FT102

I repaired many Ft102 radios

Though the the relays supplied are new to user they are old stock maybe not the fault of the supplier but the relay you have to redrill for is a near complete retrace of the pcb to get it to work so best to build a dummy header for it to save mistakes as 300v is present on this relay.

Zetagi B550 Repair

I bought these transistors for repairs only, They are pretty good. Though the gain figures are not quite as good as expected they do represent good value for money. I fitted 4 (pills) transistors into a zetagi B550p after a little change to the transformer matching caps i got 125 watts output with 5 watts input, 1.25 watts per device. then tried at various input power levels each device will take up to 10 watts input but only tried up to 7.5 watts per device input with 300 watts output overall. in other words 30 watts input gave 300 watts out with 28 amps at 13.8 volts so a little under 400 watts dc input so the devices work well and can be used in place of the more destructible sd1446 or mrf455 normally fitted. if still available when i need more i will certainly purchase more from this supplier.

Factory rejects

I have bought many trannsistors from a great number of suppliers 35 years as a radio engineer i have repaired and fitted hundreds of these devices, The purchased transistors this time had very little gain and overall poor preformance at any frequency. This may not be the suppliers fault they probably bought them in good faith so they need to question their supplier. The cost on these devices is quite substancial and as such should reflect the quality, this time it did not.
