Comcast tries to con you.
1 of 3 found this helpful I spent three days tring to activae this on comcast as i was told DOSIS 3.0 should work. On day one i called comcast CS and they told me that the UBEE is not approved on comcast. They are right its not on the list but it should still work since its DOCSIS 3.0. On the second day I call tech support and they said the same thing.... about to give up. On the third day i went on CHAT with comcast rep and said that the modem was a Arris TG862g and gave them the RF MAC address. The rep said WALA... its been added and now everything works perfectly including wifi. HTH.
