Just the job
Just the job for those little engineering jobs that you never have the right fixings for, it's great.

A great alternative to OEM
I had searched specialist Guzzi part suppliers to find a suitable replacement after my solenoid failed. I found several motor factors had Arrowhead starters and had good reviews overall, so I gave them a go.
I needed a starter for a Guzzi 1000S series 1 and found as with most Guzzis, one part fits many.
When the part arrived it was slightly different in cosmetic appearance but only to the point that a purist would notice. The overall finish is good and appears well constructed.
It should have been a simple case of plug and play however I was not confident that exposed contactor rail between the positive stud and the solenoid would not touch the contact of the `idle tracking switch' on the gearbox casing. I suspect there is a slight alignment difference in the positioning of the actuator housing. It did not cause a major issue as I simply put a heat-shrink boot over the switch contact and with the OE starter cover in place I am confident there will be no contact.
The starter works fine, no laboured starting on cold mornings and does everything I wanted at a fraction of OEM priced. Only time will tell as to how the finish holds up but so far I am confident this is a great alternative to the OEM equipment.
