Just buy it! (this isn't a sarcastic reference to Nvidia)
I love it. No petrol motor maintenance to deal with. Assembly was easy. Tightening the chain is fast and toolless (just make sure you tighten it how the instructions illustrate). Some people complained on other sites that the chain would fall off. I had no such problems. Cuts nicely (don't force it, let the saw do the cutting). I even did one cut strait down instead of across. It took longer, but is doable; all other cuts were effortless on my part, and with acceptable speed. All you need is an extension cord and chainsaw oil.
From my research, this is the second most powerful chainsaw that is corded electric. The slightly more powerful one, by a different manufacturer, had some worrying reviews, so I got the Ryobi one instead. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Let's hope it lasts and I don't have to come back here to edit my review.
One quirk: The assembly/maintenance instructions are illustrations only, not a single word in any language. Some steps weren't clear to me right away, so there is room for improvement there, like 'write up the steps too and translate them (I'm looking at you, Ryobi)', but I like the saw so much I won't take any star off for lazy instructions.
I think this is the most fun power tool I've ever purchased.

Good value, wide, but there is room for improvement
Generally it's a good product and I'll probably buy it again, but I'm taking a star off because the film is very thin; while cutting it on the 'tearing' edge, it can tear in the direction you don't want it to tear in, so you need to be careful how you're tearing it off the roll. Now, I solved the problem by re-using an old cutting-knife-slide-edge (see attached picture) that I had on my previous plastic wrap roll (made by a different company). Now I use the sliding knife to "cut", not "tear", the foil; and there is no exposed sharp edge to cut yourself on. KIRKLAND makes other foils with the knife-slide cutting mechanism, they should have used that slide-cut on this product too.
