Not really a fan
I have an RC10T3 with a BL 4300kv motor, and big monster tires that i use for a basher. Maybe this application was just too much for the stock piece, because i was blowing through them at about the rate of one per month (sometimes more). Once id found a metal diff gear have run it hard for over a year, wearing out a pair of drive rings without any noticable wear on the gear....even though they're more spendy youll be much happier with a metal unit

Economical, lightweight, but best of all no channel crystals with 2.4ghz.
Got this as a replacement radio system for a friends Tmaxx i was fixing. Couldn't beat the price. Hooked up to the existing servos with no problem, and as stated in the instructions there was no need to bind the tx, and rx...just threw in batteries, and it was good to go, also liked the location of the third channel switch, where it was less likely to be accidentally bumped... only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was because it seems pretty functional, and looks good, but since he hasn't driven it yet, cant really evaluate its durability.

A huge amount of fun for a relatively small investment
This was my first BL motor/ esc purchase, that id picked up for an RC10T3. Even though it was one of the lowest cost combos i could find, the performance was far beyond any brushed motors id previously ran...and this was on 2s, with 3s its just insane. (plus the included tuning card really lets you dial it in)After about a year the esc smoked, but replaced it and the motor keeps soldiering on. Ive owned it going on two years now, and the only problem id had was the melting down of the stock Associated diff gear from all the power delivered by the 4300, but cured this with a metal diff gear. If youve only had experience with the old brushed motors, try one of these...and hang on to your hats.
