Dyson V7 Absolute Cordless Vacuum | New

So far so good, but not quite perfect

I bought this to clean up small spots quickly. So far it has done a good job. I would have given it 5 stars except that it is a bit tricky to empty and the connection between the vacuum and the wand seems a bit weak. But, overall it does suck and that is what it is supposed to do.

Penn Torque reels rock

I am sure the new Torque reels are probably even better, but I love these old Torque reels. They are not as smooth as my Shimano Stellas or my Daiwa Saltigas, Islas and Catalinas, but they are easier to work on and have a bail that can be set to automatic or manual. The Stellas and Daiwas are only manual. The Torques are built like a tank and on Ebay can be had in the $500 range and that makes them a great deal. Also, the Daiwas can be hard to get people to work on them correctly since they require the special magnetic fluid and that is why Alan Hawk doesn't recommend them anymore. The Torque reels are so simple that you can work on them yourself or get most any reel repair place to keep them serviced for you. After a year or so, the new Torque reels will have proven themselves and perhaps been upgraded and also should start showing up on Ebay at a discount, at that time I will likely switch over to them, but for now these are still my favorite reel for tough saltwater use.
