All Creatures Great and Small

I remember seeing this series on television when it first aired. I had the entire series on VHS tapes, which are years old (and are now going to Good Will) When I saw the price had finally lowered on the DVD format I was so pleased. The DVDs are so nice to have, these have not been remastered and the sound and video is the same as when it aired. The description does say they have subtitles, but I couldn't locate it on the DVD menu, and after some research found out that older shows were actually closed captioned, (I do not know the difference) and that this will only work on older DVD players. Nonetheless, and excellent buy.
