Cheap but good quality and accurate

I bought this for my Champion generator so I can recall the running time for servicing intervals. Followed the instructions which meant wrapping the coil lead 5 times with the provided wire, and it was all connected and working in under ten minutes - perfect! BTW the wire provided is quite long but this can be trimmed to length once its fitted. Pros - Incredibly easy to install and cheap but good quality Cons - Foam pad for under the meter is suggested in the instructions but one isn't provided - not a deal clincher but notable.

If you do electrical work you need one of these in your life - Megger Earth Leakage Clamp Meter

I bought this little clamp metre because the manufacturer is one of the best and the functions were perfect for my electrical work. To be able to measure earth leakage down to a 1ma range is just awesome and has allowed me on so many occasions to workout what appliances have been causing circuits to trip. It is also great for nuisance tripping as I can identify individual circuits that have a higher earth leakage and can even clamp around the metre tails to see what the overall leakage is for that particular distribution board. Would I recommend this product to another electrician - absolutely yes!!

Okay but flimsy!

Screen is clear and very readable with a good back light......there the good bits! Strap is flimsy and the slider moves freely allowing the strap to come loose. Buttons are easy to press accidentally and I have changed the watch settings several times by accident with my wrist/hand. Screen has a scratch on it after 2 days. I am going back to my G Shock even though I wanted a smaller watch. Overall this watch is cheap and cheerful and not robust.
