These have thick metal bulb sockets instead of poor plastic sockets, so they can take the heat exactly like the OEM light sockets. Wires are suitably robust, so they should last the rest of the pickup's life.

Too bad the brightness isn't great. Quality seems to be good.
If only the quality of the brightness matched even somewhat closer to the ad photos.
The diode quality is probably fine as far as how long they will last.
Because of how dim they are I can NOT use them to light the dash of my Forester. I will use them in non-critical areas and other projects.
It doesn't matter to me what the quality is if the brightness is insufficient.
I would not buy these again or recommend them.
eBay has other models available that are much better all around. These were a waste of my money.
