As good as holiday in Italy!
This is a wonderful film. You can almost feel the warmth and smell of Italy. The music is a delight also, and stands up on its own. All performances are first rate, just wish Jude Law could have stayed around a little longer. I really can't find any fault with it. A fine tribute to Anthony Minghella.

A superb release of a wonderful film.
The film itself is of course a classic, making a star of Glenda Jackson, in what is probably Ken Russell's best film. The Criterion release is superb.

A work of art in itself.
This set contains just about everything Bobbie Gentry recorded. So beautifully presented, with some
wonderful photos. She deserved to have more big hits than she had. But she left her mark on the world.
