Better than the old one.
Had a 10 year old 55 that gave up. This one is a bit more effective and slightly more silent.

Finally a remote the wife accept
1 of 1 found this helpful Since I got myself a new 7.2 amp I've bought five universal remotes. I went trough a native Yamaha, a One For All, a Harmony, another One For All, and finally this one.
This one do what it should. When the wife press the button that says TV, she can watch TV. And when she press power, things power off. Pretty basic, but NONE of the other remotes was able of doing this. Also comes with stickers, so the button for Apple TV actually reads APPLE.
I also like the documentation. The home page is a bit dull, but the actual info is precise, elaborate and non-confusing. So much better than Harmony and One For All.
Other than this the remote is quite basic, but to me that's the beauty of it. It looks like a normal remote, and after a bit of setting up, EVERY button does what it says.
So if you are scouting a remote to make the home entertainment system less confusing, get this one. And get some flowers for the wife with the money you save by not buying Harmony.

Works and super fast
Works just as it should.
It literary took two minutes from purchase to a working Windows installation.
