Finally moved home lock, stock and barrel 200 miles, after several fits and starts. My thanks to buyers who understood when sending things out got delayed as I ‘dashed’ between the two houses.
And also, thanks to sellers who delayed sending out items so they reached the right address when i was present.

Delivered safely yesterday. Very well packaged and so no damage other than a couple of detached spears. The figures are as shown in the listing and will make a valuable addition to my Late Roman army. Excellent value for money - super seller.

Operation Sealion: How Britain Crushed the German War Machi... by McKinstry, Leo
26 Feb, 2020
A glance into the world of those facing invasion in 1940
Mckinstry is regarded as a mainstay in Sealion literature. I found the book gave a good overall account of the situation in 1940 and feelings of the soldiers and civilians who believed they were facing imminent invasion. I found it lacked the detail I was looking for but would be a good primer for the casual reader and amateur historian.

Lovely
Entertaining Skorzeny set by Flames of War enabling you to recreate some of the best bits of the 1965 film Battle of the Bulge, where German commandos dressed as US Military Police, which was based on true events in WW2.

Excellent Pop Up Card Terrain
An economical and attractive solution to get gaming with instantly on the tabletop. The product itself is far superior than the promo photo suggests. The buildings are essentially high quality, printed, card boxes which fold together in seconds. They’re a great solution if you are short on storage space or for taking along to game with your mates as they fold flat again.
I am using these Carnevale for 28mm historical games set in late medieval and early renaissance Italy & Victorian horror/Steampunk games. The windows and doors are a little big, probably bring 32mm but the difference really isn’t noticeable during play. A few extra props such as fountains, carts and market stalls brings any town scene to life but these buildings are so attractive that you can play with as is for a pop up game.
Practical, attractive and affordable, they are a great addition to any gamer’s tabletop.
