Toggle

Great kit, simple to use, good instructions. The only downside would be the final assembly step - the toggle which holds the two lace ends together easily comes apart and does so every time you tighten the lace.

Cannot be used with the original T5 screws

My OEM light seal deteriorated and, since you can't order the seal separately, I bought this whole unit. On attempting to fit it, the screws (which I reused from the original as none were provided) were difficult to screw into the white threaded parts and caused all of them to break. This meant that they turned freely, preventing me securing or removing the brake light! I eventually got it out with some difficulty and just fitted the seal to the old brake light instead and re-fitted it. Would have been much better if the seal could be bought separately.

VW Transporter T5 Front Door Speakers Pioneer car speakers + adapter pods 300W

Doesn't fit all T5 Transporters

I'm really enjoying the new speakers - a huge improvement on the stock ones. However, this kit does not fit all T5 Transporters, as our 2009 model had a larger spacer and different bolt pattern in the door. As a result, a lot of drilling and cutting was required both to the van door and the spacer in order to mate the two. Can also highly recommend getting some sticky-back sound deadening matt to put behind the speaker whilst it's out.
