Fabulous Toshiba!
A fantastic little laptop. I have upgraded the memory up to the maximum 4Gb and I am running Windows 7 pro and it seems to cope really well with iot and runs very fast. I know there are the new generation multicore processors which apparently enable computers to run multiple processes but all computers multi-task anyway so I don't quite see how they can be any better considering the overal capacity of these new processorsis quite small!

Bargain Laptop
This lovely laptop is an absolute gem and performs very well especially as I have now upgraded the memory to 2Gb! It came without an operating system but had its C.O.A. so I was able to load XP Pro without any problems. I have used it at various Wi-Fi hotspots and with 10 tabs on Firefox open it between web pages effortlessly like lightning!! I am now considering putting a solid stae hard drive as I have read many reports that this will cut down boot up time and also means the pc will run so much cooler. I wanted a laptop so that I could surf the internet while sat in my lounge, my main pc is in my bedroom. I will be setting up a wireless network with a Virgin Media integrated modem and router so I can do this wirlessly. This might be classed as 'old technology' but it works and provides more stability than some of the newer bad tempered laptops.
