Drop-in replacement for Firex 1240C
2 of 2 found this helpful Easy to install, direct drop-in replacement for my old Firex 1240C which had developed an annoying fault (beeping constantly - supposed to indicate backup battery failure, but kept doing it even with brand-new battery installed.) No problems with this replacement unit.

Crumbly neoprene gloves
Might be good enough for cycling or other activities where not much hand movement occurs, but I bought these gloves for rowing, and within a week the neoprene layer in the palm area had shredded and crumbled due to friction on the oar handle with every stroke of the oar. Definitely NOT recommended for rowers!
