Broke the old battery free of the 5S' kung-fu grip
Once I broke the old battery free of the 5S' kung-fu grip, the new battery went in just fine. As you can see from the photos they are nearly identical, visually, with very similar coding on both units. An untrained-eye would not be able to differentiate this from the factory battery. Once you get into the body the original battery is HARD to get out. It's glued down and won't budge at first. I had a small pick tool that I was able to loop around the back and gently pull up one area at a time until I got the whole thing loose. Be patient. It will come up. Try to not put any pressure on any of the other insides besides the battery and the housing. This is the most delicate and frustrating part of the operation (and the glass is no picnic either).

The case is very durable and does its job protecting the speaker. The inside is lined with a soft fabric to cushion the speaker and eliminate any scuffing. The zipper is heavy duty and well made and I don't foresee any issues over the life of this product.
