Being a Peanuts fan since childhood, I wanted my son to enjoy some of the same entertainment that I did, and have an opportunity for us to share quality viewing time together. My quest started off with collecting all of the popular Peanuts videos, i.e. the Christmas specials, Thanksgiving, and ofcourse "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown". This simple venture has now become a semi obsession, wanting to collect all the episodes that I never saw before and are somewhat hard to find these days, many of which aren't on DVD, (not as of this writing anyway). Snoopy Double Feature - V. 6 features "What A Nightmare, Charlie Brown" & "It's Magic, Charlie, Brown". Both episodes are very watchable, however I would not recommend Nightmare as one of your first viewing entries into the Peanuts catalogue. It depicts a dream where Snoopy must transform from his fun-loving self into a savage beast to survive. Seeing Snoopy with jagged teeth and growling can be a little disturbing after getting to know him after all these years. Yes, Snoopy wakes up to find it was all a nightmare ofcourse, but those images are still like I said, a little disturbing. "Magic" is on the lighter side, however far fetched, as Charlie Brown is made to disappear by one of Snoopy's Magic tricks. As long as your children understand that this premise is fictional and fantasy-laden, the story is good fun and whimsical. All in all, a worthy addition to your Peanuts collection.
Lag, Latency issues - some useful effects, great tiny footprint
Love the tiny footprint. Good for some things, but not as a drop tuner - there is lag and latency issues. Lead to believe this would allow me to drop my tuning down in semitones, but you will experience a lag between strum and output sound - enough to make it unnaceptable to use it as a detuner. Now, if you're just looking for some chorus sounds for slow strum songs, it's fun to play around with, but don't expect to use it as a drop, (or raise), tuner. Silly me hoping I could use this instead of a $150 Digitech Drop pedal, dreams crushed, you get what you pay for.
