This is a birthday gift for a 1 year old, who has started walking, but it’s not her birthday yet, so she hasn’t played with it. It looks durable and fun and I love penguins, so that’s what drew me to it.

I’ve bought several of these - they are perfect for storing pictures so that little fingers can turn the pages and see how faces change over the years. They’re kept in a basket on a table and the grandchildren love looking through them whenever they visit. Considering the wear and tear they have to put up with they are surprisingly robust.

Shark vacuum cleaner review

I’ve only had this model two weeks so it’s a bit early to say it’s reliable, but so far it is ticking all my boxes. I didn’t want upright, cordless or one that needs replacement bags, so it meets all those requirements. It’s light for taking upstairs and easy to empty and the suction is very good. Also, much quieter than my old one (doesn’t upset the cat!) I think the instructions could be clearer. It took me a week to work out how the different attachments fit on! I’m not keen on diagrams without written instructions.
