Easy to apply and soaks in well
Wanted an oil that would soak into some sliced cherry tree trunks to bring out their original colour and provide some protection when used as shelving. This Danish oil worked a treat.
Applied using a paintbrush and the oil soaked in between strokes - density of wood will obviously affect rate of absorption.
No overpowering smell once dry.
My only note of caution would be not to be too liberal with the amount used - although the oil brings out the colour, apply too much and the wood starts to darken.

Simple but effective
1 of 1 found this helpful There are several of these thermometers on the market, all pretty much the same simple design but with very different price tags. This one was one of the cheapest and yet it has one of the easiest dials to read, clearly showing the optimum temp range. My flue is hidden in the dark recesses of the fireplace/chimney, however the temperature needle has a shiny metal part to it that manages to catch what little light there is and therefore, despite its location, is still readable.
The magnet is of a decent strength and there has been no gauge movement.
All in all a great little product for monitoring the optimum output from your stove.

Does the job
The dispenser is useful for being able to tear off what is required without contaminating the rest of the paper. The colour chart seems pretty accurate as well so easy to confirm the pH.
