Great aroma and practical alternative to logs
I like this peat. I like the peat smell as it reminds me of Highland holidays. On the practical side the quantity was just right as I want to be able to keep our stove fire and our open fire in while busy over the Christmas season. I burn logs in the sitting room open fire so peat helps the fire to keep going while you are dinning in the room with the wood stove. Big logs can be difficult to fit in my small stove so a bit of peat comes in very handy at times. The briquettes stay intact as they burn and form a nice heart to the fire.
