125m Long Picture Hanging Wire GALVANISED Mirrors/Canvas/Photo Frame Cord/Cable
08 Oct, 2019
Great solution to my problem along with some small brass eye hooks
Don't really write reviews but previous review from Paul annoyed me that much I feel I should.
Purchased over 40 Ikea Ribba frames to make gallery of family photos on my hall staircase wall & as many of you know these frames are difficult to hang because the hanging bit is so sunken into the frame
So my solution was to use 2 brass eye hooks on each frame & feed the wire through tighten & twist.
When you buy picture hanging kits you get about a meter of hanging wire which for me wasn't going to be enough so was pleased when I found this item.
Read Paul's review & thought it may be to thin a wire by his review but thought 125m of wire delivered to my home for under £4 just try it & see.
Well it has worked perfectly for all my 40 frames & not once during all my feeding through & twisting did it break so I never needed to cut another piece. But let's face it even if I did I had 125m of it.
My frames sizes went up to 50x50cm & for that size I just fed double the wire through the brass eye hooks.
Now I only used around 25m of mine so you could say you get a lifetime supply for under £4 but let's face it, you'd spend a fiver on fuel just going to your local DIY store to buy some
So for me this item was fit for purpose & worth every penny spent
