Great music! Time flies!
This is one of my favorite Firms. It has great music and the exercises are alot of fun. Its a workout I look forward to. It uses the Firm Transfirmer which is a step that can be used at 6 or 8 inches for aerobics or 14 inches for the Firm leg press which really is a wonderful exercise. But work up to the 14 inches because it can be hard on the knees if you aren't used to it. Start off with the 8 inches and then work up to it. This step also can be used at an incline. Now this is such a genious part of it. I love it! Now, lunging doesn't hurt my knees! And you can even do leg pressess on the incline. And doing step on the incline totally zero's in the glute hamstring area and off the knee/quad area.
This workout alternates muscle toning with step and floor aerobics. Christa is a great Firm instructor. There is alot of lower body work like squats,dips off the step, lunges onto the Transfirmer and leg press. There is also quite a bit of upper body work too. The workout finishes with abs and a great stretch.
The only thing I don't like is that the DVD isn't chaptered. But the good outweigh the things I don't like.

1 of 1 found this helpful This Firm workout is one of my favorites! From the warmup to the excellent end stretch, Allie really makes this workout fly by. I look forward to it. She hits every muscle and the aerobics are enjoyable. This workouts uses the Transfirmer which is a step that can go from 6 inch step to 8 inch step to 14 inch leg press and then also goes to an incline step which is my favorite!
I would consider this intermediate to advanced. Depending on what size weights you use. Another great thing about this workout is that the music is great. I really enjoy Allie as an instructor. She just comes across as a great friend you would like to hang out with. She's great.

Tamilee's Quick Toning Abs/Buns of Steel
3 of 4 found this helpful These are Tamilee Webbs older Quick Toning Abs,Buns,thighs,arms of steel put out on DVD. This workout is her Abs and her Buns.
The abs have 3 quick 15 minute workout on them starting and ending with a warmup and cooldown. The ab work is traditional crunches in which she does things in 2 sets.
The Buns have warmup and cooldown and each workout get tougher then the previous with the end one using a step with lots of squats and dips and lunges on the step.
Tamilee is doing the workout one on one and the set is nice with TV's and plants. She changes outfits for each workout which is a nice change. The music is instrumental /techno. Tamilee has a great sense of humor and you can tell she is working just as hard along with you. I like these much better than her newer I want that body,ect workouts. This is pre-Tamilee lip and cheek implants. She looks more natural with less makeup.
