Immediate fail
1 of 1 found this helpful Third time of using the main wheel bearing detached from the hub and vey nearly dumped an £800 cooker with glass doors on its side on a block paved walkway. All these wheels are cheaply made and bearings wear out quickly, which is why I regularly buy them four or ten at a time, but I don’t expect them to fall apart without warning, having covered less that 100 meters.

A little work to get a good result
0 of 3 found this helpful Let’s not beat about the bush, if you’re expecting OEM quality and specs at the price you pay for this item, then like the 5w bulb it comes with, you’re a bit dim. It needs a little tweaking to make a nice job of it. The unit looks ok BUT remember it is a cheap copy, so the black stalk is plastic, not rubber and the bulb holder is mounted in a way that only takes a 5w bulb. However, it’s possible to un-mount the metal bulb holder (solder on the negative wire that’s just twisted onto the spring while you’re at it), slip off the ring that screws to the holder with a pair of pliers and bin the ring, carefully pop the holder down the shaft, and secure it in place with a carefully applied shot of superglue. Once that’s done, it will take the correct 21w bulb.
If you’re capable of replacing the indicator in the first place, I’d say you would be capable of making the modification. At that point it looks and works like the original. Considering the huge saving compared to buying an OEM part, a little pfaffing about to make it work as it should is well worth the effort. I’ve done have a dozen repairs using this part modified as described and the final outcome makes it very hard to distinguish from the original. Overall, I’m very happy
