Firm/flexible, not hard/rigid
This case is advertised as "hard," but it's more like "firm." It's made of flexible plastic, not hard/rigid. I can roll it into a tube from corner to corner and almost fold it in half. That said, it is not as soft as their "soft" case and appears to provide a good level of protection. Buttons work fine through the case.

Limited usefulness under Windows 7
The Razaer Synapse 3 software required to configure the keys and colors doesn't work with this device under Windows 7. I spent several hours trying various things and the result was Windows hanging when trying to install the drivers. If I didn't install Synapse, Windows would recognize it and I could use the default key bindings and colors. Synapse worked fine under Windows 8.1.
