Just doesn't work.
It made no difference whatever to the marauding pigeons as they stripped my lettuce beds.

The pigeons take absolutely not notice of it.

Very pleased.
This is a replacement for an earlier model which gave years of service but finally just died. This model is much more convincing and also has the option to use batteries. Required a little experimentation with positioning and volume level. Very realistic barking and it also gives a serious growl.
