Good, fast, cheap, pick all three - but Linux support could be better
2 of 2 found this helpful As entry level mono laser printers go, this one is good value. Print quality, paper handling, speed and power consumption are all fine and consumables cost is lower than you'd expect for a printer at this price point. About the only serious deficiency is the lack of an open source driver for Linux.
Brother provides a proprietary lpr/CUPS driver package for Linux that works well but it relies on executables compiled for 32-bit x86 only for which no source code is provided. This complicates installation on 64-bit x86 systems and makes it prohibitively difficult on ARM-based boxes such as the Raspberry Pi.

Will probably buy more of this
First moustache wax I've tried. Seems to work just fine. Doesn't stink. Stays on in the surf, comes off in the shower. Costs little enough that making up my own based on its listed ingredients, all of which are easily obtainable, doesn't seem worth the trouble. I like it.

Old CPU models are cheap now
Bought this CPU to upgrade an elderly Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop, which had performed completely adequately with Debian and LXQt until VirtualBox got updated to v6.1, which now requires the host CPU to have hardware virtualization support. This chip doesn't make the laptop go noticeably faster than the T5550 that used to be in it but it has VT-x and for AU$15 shipped it was a no-brainer.
