Direct reolacement
It is a direct OE replacement. No surprises.

Direct replacement in a couple of hours.
Arrived on time, correct part for the car and fitted according to YouTube video. All working. Manufacturers video glosses over one or two steps, but plenty of other good ones out there (esp the geezer who fs and Jeff's).

Decent bit of kit, but check that ratchet moves freely before you put it under load.
Make sure that the ratchet moves freely and clicks into the teeth properly (i needed to insert a washer into mine because it was fouling on the side of the body and not doing its job properly), but apart from that (which loses it a star), it is well constructed and exactly as specified... even with wire guides and feeders.
