Great little underseat sub that punches above its weight
I couldn't be happier with mine. This subwoofer is extremely compact. It fits perfectly and invisibly under the seat of my Peugeot 107, which is tiny. I have it wired into my factory head unit that puts out 45W RMS, using the speaker line adaptor. All I can say is that the response is better than I expected. Despite the size and the less than ideal wiring arrangement, it puts out impressive punch and clarity. I believe the spec that says it can reproduce down to 20Hz. The remote allows fine tuning on the fly of the bass balance with the rest of the system. I'm still playing with it, looking for the sweet spot that sounds best on a wide variety of music. At 50W RMS, it's unlikely to satisfy the drum and bass crowd and I don't know if it would live up to a powerful aftermarket head unit with line outs, but at 98dB sensitivity, it is plenty loud for my stock system. Having already upgraded the crappy door and dash speakers with a decent set of component speakers, I now have a listening environment that comes close to home stereo. I'm finding excuses to drive my car so I can listen to the stereo. That says it all.
