I'm keeping this copy!!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had an old copy of this book which I lent to someone - never to get it back. So, although I'd already read it and referred to it in the past, I just wanted to have a copy again.
This is one of the few books to include several photos of Rye Harbour in addition to the areas just outside Rye town, in contrast to lots of books which feature the standard, traditional photos of Rye town.
The presentation is logical to follow and very interesting in content. The book is in very good condition and I am happy with the price.

A compelling read from start to finish, better than the film!
Excellent condition paperback, riveting account of Donald Crowhurst's 1968 failed attempt to win the first nonstop single-handed round the world sail boat race . After watching the film on TV during the pandemic lock-down we ordered the book and it certainly filled in the gaps the film leaves. It is a real "how is he going to resolve that", "then what happens", etc. etc. It not only serves as a witness to the physical challenge but the mental drain and personality you would need to achieve the end you want.

Excellent value as it covers a huge range of sizes
Although I couldn't get on with increasing and maintaining the pattern, I did my own thing and just uses the sizing as required. Good clear print. Sizes cover child to adult which makes it good value.
