2 of 3 found this helpful I read that 10 mins skipping burns as many calories as 25 mins running. I immediately got excited about saving 35 mins daily and bought this skipping rope. Two days later it arrived and I started skipping.
I can easily run 45mins, but no way can I skip for 10 mins without pausing.
It is SO hard. No wonder boxers use it as a warm up.
A week later and I’m still at it. My muscles ache, including muscles I had no idea would be impacted by skipping, such as my abdominal.
The robe is lightweight and fits into your handbag - you can bring in anywhere and skip at your convenience. I do it while walking the dogs.
So what are you waiting for? It’s March, start skipping now and get fit for summer.
