The best tripod clamp.
This tripod clamp is the best I've seen, it is strong and very well made - unl9ike some of the cheaper plastic versions offered by a number of sellers. If you are upgrading your tripod please check first that the existing clamp can be removed, some are made so that the clamp is an integral part. I have one tripod with a head made like this!
This clamp is made so that when the pad is fitted into the head the clamp automatically locks, with a heave scope this does make fitting to the tri[od much easier.
If you can fit this model to your tripod to replace a plastic version I'm certain you will be delighted, it closes so tightly it makes using your scope a real pleasure.

Jura F9 coffee maker
A superb coffee maker, simple and quick to operate, fill the water tank, put beans in the hopper and set each coffee you wish to make via the 'expert' set up on the screen. If what you make is to your taste the machine will re member all of your settings. This feature is accessed via the programme button and the revolving control above it. It looks a bit complex but is pretty straightforward and easily mastered.
Servicing the machine regularly is simple and just follow the instructions on the screen, The machine reminds you when something needs to be done. It is important to keep the milk system very clean and it is simple to do after each day's coffee has been made. The instructions in the instruction book are very clear and the cleaning takes little time, far easier than my previous machine! It helps a great deal to warm the coffee cups, I use an ordinary plate warmer and this works fine, remember not to put the cup handles over the heating area, ouch!
If in doubt on anything the helpful team at Jura will give you all the advice you need, they are so very good and knowledgeable..
Buying the F9 and the Cool Control milk cooler will give you excellent results, this is the way to that perfect coffee.
