Almost perfect
For its price, this is a pretty good teapot. It looks pleasing, is well balanced and pours really well and has a nice comfortable handle, which doesn't get uncomfortably hot, even with the pot under a tea cosy. I would have given it five stars, if it weren't for the disappointingly poor fit of the lid. As already stated, I think this is generally a well designed and well made product and certainly worth the money, but the slightly undersized and loose fitting lid would definitely benefit from a redesign.
Would I recommend this pot? Yes I would, despite the lid; as it is by far the best stainless steel teapot I have owned and used over many years and there have been quite a few.

Extremely Useful
I have previously been using and will continue to use 0.50ml centrifuge tubes for field collecting of specimens, such as seeds, certain microfungi, pollen and other small things, but have often found the 0.50ml tubes a little small, so I purchased these to use for the larger specimens. They are certainly a very useful size, the internal width of the opening being approximately 9.50mm, that width being maintained for 19mm, though the internal part of the snap cap takes up about 4.50mm of that. After 19.00mm, and for the next 20.50mm, the tube tapers evenly to an approximate internal diameter of around 3.00mm, where it rounds off. The total internal depth is 38.50mm.
The tubes are surprisingly rigid, but don't seem brittle and are transparent enough for items contained within to be easily viewed. The cap snaps shut very positively and when I filled them with propanol and shook them, there was absolutely no leakage; so with due maintenance, these tubes could be used to store specimens in alcohol almost permanently; needing just the occasional checking for loss due to vaporisation. There is a decent sized write on panel.
Given how useful I found the smaller version of these, I am confident that these will prove to be just as useful for the collection and storage of specimens.

The Best I've Used
I've been keeping a personal diary for forty years and after trying a few different makes in the early days, I eventually found the Letts 11x and immediately liked it. It has a neat appearance, is of good quality paper (the leaves of my early ones haven't yellowed at all) which is thick and hard enough to be written on with a fountain pen. The covers are available in a small range of colours and the binding is strong, so all in all, while not the cheapest desk diary on the market; for my purposes, it is value for money.
