A good blend of humour and sobriety.
Niderhofer's style of weaving his life's work while referencing the works of the Classics in art and bibliography, while also drawing the reader into his life experiences that shaped him to what he is, is not something that is often seen nowadays. Today's books by 'experts' are typically an exercise in marketing but not this.
