Confusing methodology and some irrelevant content

I bought these tapes because I was looking for something I could listen to in the cassette player I have in my 2000 truck. However, I perceive a few problems. Firstly, like many Arabic teaching tools, we are not told WHICH Arabic is being taught. One needs to already be an intermediate student to discern which is which. MSA? Amiya? Moroccan? Egyptian? Secondly, the tapes switch back and forth between the English being given first with the Arabic following and the Arabic given first with the English following. It is quite confusing even though they give you a "ding ding ding" when the switch occurs. Thirdly, many of the words and phrases are things a learner is unlikely to need to know how to say. If you already have some Arabic, the tapes are useful in that they serve as a review for what one already knows. And it is hard to find anything on cassette these days so in that way the tapes are useful.

The Cable show that started it all!

The Sopranos is a classic. Violence, sex, drugs and Italian Opera; what else is there? To ask if this show is compelling is like asking if getting poison oak itches. The writing is brilliant, the acting, excellent and the storylines are realistic. Come on, you knew all that anyway, giusto?

Works, but "not the recommended cable"

This charger works fine so far. I don't know if long term use will affect the battery or not. When I plug the phone into this charger, I get a message that it is not the "recommended" cable. It fits the phone fine and the phone charges. That's all I know and its good enough for me! The price is a bargain.
