Disappointing purchase
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered three sets of these mugs as I had admired my friend's mugs which he purchased a year or so ago - the same make and presentation - from a tourist gift shop when we were in the Cotswolds . His are about a quarter of an inch shorter but made of finer China and the painting is more finely defined and with much brighter colours. These mugs although defined as fine bone China are more like pottery. They do not exude the class that I was expecting. However, due to time limits and anticipated bother of returning them, I felt I had no option but to give them as gifts as originally intended. I wouldn't purchase such an item online again but would choose from a store display.
