Poorer quality than anticipated
1 of 2 found this helpful You get what you pay for. I doubt anyone paid the full price and did not then return this to the shop. It's not fair to compare this to our folding beds (more sturdy, bought for the grown-up campers in the family) that cost three times as much. But it is fair to compare it to another four legged camp bed that we've owned for 7 years. That short time ago seems like a different era. Back then shops slashed prices in the winter. Now it's a race to sell you stuff in camping season, and the quality is poorer for it: areas of rust, tubes don't fit together, baggy canvas. I'll be trying to return this to the shop and instead pay twice as much in the hope of avoiding a so-called "bargain".

Tip for top / bottom hinged windows
If the window hinges at the top or bottom the lock needs to be placed a good distance from the hinge, to function as a safety device. Sounds confusing? Experiment a bit and think about the gap your child could squeeze through, before you fit.
