Did the basics
Did the job, being a spare pair of hands, a little limited in it's hold.

Vent my feelings!
I've placed a small crane in my back garden, but I wanted to hide the base plate of said crane, where the anchor bolts are fixed to the concrete foundation. So I've cunningly had the base plate lower than the top of the garden wall. However, I didn't want to cement in the bolt heads, instead I've created a small space below the coping stone, with this cast iron vent at the front, allowing the aforementioned fixings to remain dry.
A lot of work, and feel free to call me mad if you must, but the said vent is aging beautifully, with even a touch of rust, which is more in-keeping with the brick and stone surrounds.
