This is a great, practical book to gain an understanding of how an automatic transmission works and how to repair them.

Bad Elf GPS 1000 I-Phone / I-Pad Aviation (30 pin connector)

It just works as advertised, with no hassle. Great device.

What I like about the Bad Elf 1000 is that I can plug it into my 30 pin iDevice such as an iPad or iPod touch, turn on location services and begin using the Bad Elf right away. I don't need to bother charging a separate device or waste time pairing a Bluetooth connection to make the Bad Elf work. It's just plug and run! I am getting a nice steady GPS signal in the car and in the house where my 3G iPad has had trouble by itself. The only concern I have is that the Bad Elf can get bumped enough to become disconnected. If one secures the device that the Bad Elf plugs into, that would be essential to having a reliable pairing. It is a very handy device. I can hardly wait to try a Lightning connector model Bad Elf for a newer iPhone that I have.
