Yarbrough's tenor voice & soft guitar made him famous among folk singers in many venues...
Glenn Yarbrough was famous after the LIMELITERS for his sailing & sea-tales set to music like "I Could Have Been a Sailor" and "Chantyman" Indeed, I knew him more as an actual West Coast sailor in the '70s, even purchasing one of his boats. I think most folks were in love with his voice & soft guitar. When they moved to Guadalahara, Mexico I sensed he had a new passion - not so much concerts as creating his own CDs, and he did some great work, especially with his daughter.

Not worthy of description, nor price.
I have previously bought all metal exact repros from Japan - functioning ones I use as "decorators" in shadow boxes (Luger P-08; Walther P-38.) That was my intention here - a Colt .45 ACP vs an 8-mm Nambu M-14 replica that I had. What a disappointment when this item came in a plastic envelope with loose orange B-Bs. It's under-size; hammer doesn't move, safety won't function to hold slide open and the slide extraction port is extremely shallow, misshaped & not in keeping with a 1911 A-1 appearance being more atop fixed-to-slide & silver-colored. The quality just isn't like other replicas; basically it's a $40 toy for kids 10 & over!
