Nice midsize servo for steering model sailboat :)
Got this servo to act as a rudder servo for a 42" sloop, I have seen good power, control, performance, and centering on the bench and on the water! I am quite happy with this purchase

Happy with replacement stylus
1 of 1 found this helpful Quite happy to find this model fit the technics epc328 cartridge. Pretty good deal to keep an old table going. Inspected the stylus with a microscope before use and it looked nice, clean, and smooth. The clear blue housing looks slick with a silver table as well, it works, I'm happy, and I will probably buy another when the time comes for a new needle.

Nice little 2 head cassette deck
Decent deck, on the "portable" side of the spectrum. Better than boombox or modern cassette reader/recorders for recording tapes. Wouldn't say enthusiast grade but solidly good. The analog vu meters make me so very happy to watch them dance around and to set up recordings. Plenty good for masking a tape of a record or a mixtape. And let's be honest, I can get SA90s and Chome Maximas for 10c at the local thrift, cassettes are a fun, novel hobby nowadays. Not everything has to be The Best (read expensive) to enjoy them.
Pretty tricky to do belt replacements even if you do know what you are doing. I noticed the service manual for the 320 is NOT availible online (at least not for free).
I restored a CD 330, the three head version of this one a while back, they are almost identical, less the third head hardware and a monitor select switch. I was able to find a free pdf manual for the 330, and it will work for the 320 for dissasembly, basic maintainance and such. There's also a YouTube video set of a gentleman fixing up a 330 and who was ever so kind to video his journey and explain how he does things. That was very helpful when I restored my 330 and then i knew how to fix up this deck from memory.
You don't need the $15 selected belt kits for either the 320 or 330 units, an assorted pack of square belts that goes up to 130mm will get you there with plenty to spare and for only $4-5, I've fixed several walkmans and decks with one assorted pack.
While putting it back together, you have to make sure the record lever on the drive board lines back up with the record switch which is on the bottom board for whatever reason. Other than that you can mostly ignore the spaghetti nightmare of wires if it is working after replacing belts.
In the event a board component does blow, they are relatively easy to replace if you can solder, since the unit is old enough to use standard pin-through-board style components.
Do Not get oil on the spindle clutch, it is just a felt donut between two plastic wheels that provides tension and that will slip when the tape is spun out. Getting oil in there will make it slip and it is tricky to clean it out enough to work properly afterwards. My first unit does not rewind reliably as a result, I learned my lesson for restoring my second unit.
