Nice Remote, Very Functional, Requires Patience.
Nice remote. It's ergonomic and feels solid. Since it uses RF to communicate with the Hub, there's no need for line of sight with the Hub. It's also nice being able to use the phone app to control everything in the entertainment center (on my Pixel, if the app is open you can even use the volume rocker to adjust volume while the phone is asleep).
It took me a few days of trial and error to get everything to work correctly, but the system is highly customize-able so there's likely a solution for your situation if you have the patience. I could see it becoming a frustrating experience for some...
Also, I got mine reburbished and the remote was not paired to the Hub. If the remote seems dead on arrival (and you've removed the plastic from the battery bay), you may have to pair it to the hub : hold the menu and mute buttons on the remote.
