Scalewatcher - Electronic Scale Water Descaler normal price £195 - 2 Star

Sounds ideal but not convinced

It was not easy to install. The manufacturer web site wouldn’t allow me to watch the video. It is very hard to wrap round your cold pipe in confined space. All videos will show lovely spacious pipes. The coiling wires were very long and I had to cut into a third. This was not easy to wind round the pipe. You also have to make sure a socket is close by. I have seen another model in practice and assumed this would be similar. So so far not entirely convinced as it is under my sink on the cold pipe but not at the main in. Our house is also over60 years old. Not sure what pipes are original or replacement.
