Good stuff, works a treat.
Chrome (Russel Hobbs) 1970's kettle still going strong. Tried lots of things to descale the inside and eventually Oust. It's by far the most effective I've tried. It came as a liquid sachet rather than a powder, but worked fine. As shiny inside the kettle as it is outside (well almost!). No hesitation in recommending this based on my experience.

Frequent error messages and no readings
Bought on recommendation of GP. Cuff supplied with machine was too small and kept ripping the Velcro and coming off. So ordered their large cuff (optional extra). That's probably too big - but at least it was long enough to go round and stay fixed on. Spent a week trying to get two daily readings from this machine. Sometimes it took 6 attempts to get any reading at all. Sometimes we gave up altogether. Most often it gave an error message saying BP was abnormally high or low - and no reading was given (only the error message). I don't believe was 'abnormal', or if it was, the limits in the machine are inappropriate. We actually can't tell if its the machine that's faulty or the cuff that's too big (or not fitted properly), or the way we're trying to use it, but after a week we gave up and its now back in the box and we've reverted to the cheaper wrist pulse BP machine we've had for ages and works all the time - albeit perhaps not as accurate as this was supposed to be. But at least it gives a reading every time.
Can't do with a blood pressure machine that refuses to give you the blood pressure and only gives you an error message! The unreliability of this machine actually increased the anxiety about using it - which increased the BP anyway.
It might work for some, but we're not at all happy with it, and now regard it as having been a waste of money.

Better than I expected.
Home made wooden leanto wallcase with 4' x 18" opening roof. It was easy to fit. Very accommodating attachment brackets. Wasn't sure it it would work or not, but it opens and closes a treat! Not quite got the hang of adjusting the temperature so it opens at the right temperature yet but still adjusting. Unexpected positive was that it doesn't (so far) seem open much beyond 100 -110 angular degrees or so (I worried about it banging into a projecting eaves which has not been a problem). But this has also produced an unexpected negative in that it seems to stop at a fixed distance once it starts to open, (rather than keep opening to keep the temp below 75% which was my aim).
That said, I'm still getting used to it so it may be me that's not got it properly figured yet. A decent Stainless Steel friction stay would have been around the same price (with no automation) so I thought I'd give thei autovent a try. I don't think I will be without one in future.
