Read one - want them all!
I first came across these books in a hospital waiting room - and sad though it will seem [I am in my 70s!!!] I read it thru. I was enchanted both by the little story and the illustrations and took note of it, having two small granddaughters. There are 8 such books in a little seies, in 2 editions, and I have been trying to collect one of each edition ever since. One granddaughter is absolutely thrilled with them [the other is, as yet a little too young to have them] and they have been read in various classes in her school. They are not easy to obtain in great condition -hardly surprising given the dates of their issue [1990s]- and I am still two short in each edition. I am somewhat reluctant to recommend them [I do not want to add to the competitive bidding!!!!!!] - but I really do. They are delightful - indeed classic!
