A budget cd with good roots reggae and digital also,Goodlesser known tracks
20 Niney the Observer productions with a variety of well known and lesser known reggae lead singers. There is 1970's roots (including three roots tracks by Justin Hinds) and the later newer digi reggae on this.Of the twenty tracks most are high quality roots reggae, the odd track hear and there is not as instant but does reveal the quality over a series of listens. Not unlike when roots reggae went digital and it wasn't always easy to listen to the new production values of mostly digital sounds.Ken Boothe,Sugar Minott,Delroy Wilson,Junior Byles,John Holt,Freddie Mcgregor,Michael Prophet,Gregory Issacs,Barrington Levy,Andrew Tosh,Welton Irie,Ian Sweetness,Ruddy Thomas and Rankin Toyan all appear.A good listen for a good price.

Very good early to late 1970's collection
In terms of a good collection of Gregory Isaacs songs from the early to late 70's this 2CD is outstanding. The mastering is fair, good and very good(Varied from song to song based on source), which is only really spotted with direct comparison to another source.

Alpha second full album on Massive Attack own label
Second full lp from Alpha who are on Massive Attacks own label Melankolic when doing this. It comes close to the quality of the first album with more of a classics feel than the dubby on/off beats of Come From Heaven(1st). This is delicate music made with a lot of care. Well worth a listen and can be got at a good price.
