nikon standard kit lens 18-70mm AF-S Nikkor
Compared to the standard 18-55mm kit lens i find the extra focal length and imaging better. This may be because of the honeymoon effect as i have only owned it for a few weeks but i am suitably impresses with the image quality, given that my D40x is very fussy when it comes to choosing the right lens. I reckon it was well worth the £80 and if you find it for a similar price or less, its a bargain.
