Make sure it says NEW

It’s typical overseas product, it’s not bad but not great either. They failed to mention that unless the listing says “new” it could be missing parts. Mine was missing one piece and they could not nor would try to help by sending the missing part rather we had to return it. They paid the freight and refunded my money but it was a lot of trouble.

Do not recommend

I used the small red hone less than 15 seconds and the hone separated from the plastic backing. We have sets at work that the diamond hone portion is wore out from use and never has the hone separated from the plastic backing. Cheep Chinese JUNK. Do not recommend buying these hones.

Would buy again

Okay, I don't like buying Chinese stuff anymore than the next guy. Since Irwin Vise Grip are made in China now we thought we would try some of these at a 3rd the cost. The appearance is very good, everything is tight, the thumb screw is the same size as Irwin, the threads on the lead screw appear to be metric and only slightly smaller. Using them they feel equal to all my other Irwin clamps, they clamp tight and hold equally. The only negative is they don't open nearly as much, about 1/2" less than Irwin. For the money if I need more I will buy more until Irwin returns to being made in the USA.
