Rubbish product
Plastic tube split and supplier couldn't or wouldn't replace it only option was to buy another.

Not too heavy and has suction feet to keep steady. This didn't come as a kit but was plugged in after taking off the plastic protection. I tried it on uncut bread loaf and it sliced through perfectly. There is adjustment of the cutting depth from approx 1mm to 15mm adequate for most. You will need a flat dish or tray to catch the cuttings.
