Sony Ericsson W850i any good
1 of 1 found this helpful Well is the Sony Ericsson W850i any good.First of all the phone is an older model, about two to three years old. Without going in to a huge data stream of facts and figures, the phone has all the usual extras that the latest phones are offering. In fact the phone industry seems to have come to a screaming halt when it comes to offering new capabilities other than design changes IE the I Phone type shape, now very common with touch screen technology. Personaly I do not like touch screen, you are forever wiping your fingure prints of the screen which tends to leave fine scratch marks.The W850i is quite a solid handful and very well made, it is a slide phone but quite a number of the phones system menues are available without sliding the phone to the open position. You can make phone calls access the menu system which opens up all the phones applications, including the bydirectional camera and also the music player. The music player is excellent via the supplied headset but does benifit from using higher quality headphones. You will need to buy a third party connector to go from Sony Ericsson to 3.5mm jack plug but it is worth it.Finaly all I can say is, just as Sony Ericsson get a phone right they change it,for what I think is not realy an improvement. If it aint broke don't mend it and the W850i certainly aint broke. I like it's looks it's usability and it's build quality.As I said this not a technical review, look the phone up on any search engine and read all the specs for yourself and make your mind up. I love this phone and I have had all the so called smart phones,the other advantage is, it can be picked up in good condition for peanuts.

A cut above
I own several high-end men's fragrances. To me, Lanvin Oxygen is a cut above the other famous names that I have.
